Rebecca trained at the University of the West of England in Bristol, qualifying in 1998. Rebecca worked as a junior physiotherapist at the West Suffolk Hospital. She then moved to the Royal Marsden Oncology Centre in London treating adults and children with cancer. At this point Rebecca started to focus more on working with children and for the next 8 years worked as a paediatric physiotherapist within the NHS based at hospitals in the Greater London area.
She has worked with children who have special needs as well as children with musculoskeletal conditions and injuries.
Rebecca also has a special interest in Infant massage and is a qualified infant massage instructor.
She is keen to promote the importance of health and fitness education for children and believes that children can take an active role in their rehabilitation to enjoy a healthy, active lifestyle.
Rebecca has maintained her interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy for adults as well as children and since moving to West Berkshire she has been working at The Physiotherapy Clinic combining both her interests. She can assess and treat all musculoskeletal conditions and the addition of her specialism in paediatrics is a valuable asset to the Clinic.
